“Middle Adult Sunday School Group”

For the summer, we are going to ‘lighten up’ and have a book club sort of class. We will read Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman. Some of you have already read the book and some may own a copy. Our class normally orders 15 copies of the study materials, so if you do already have a copy of this book, please let me know and I will reduce the order accordingly.

This book is divided into three parts, so we will cover one part each month: May, June and July.

We also want to invite anyone who is not already in a class to come check us out and hopefully it will be a good fit for you!

Thanks, Vicki Parnell or

Prayer Group

The Prayer Group is for now meeting in the home of Jeff and Billye Morton in 136 Brandy Run Road; Tuesday; 12:00-1:00.

We seek to listen to God through His word through quiet time. We share those thoughts with each other. We then proceed to intercede for our church, workers, members, relatives, friends, community, nation and the world. If your mode of prayer is silent prayer, we will respect your silence. To intercede for others, we only require you to love these others. Join us every Tuesday noon at the Morton residence.  For directions call 601-992-0003.

The group is also seeking the names of students to be included in their prayer list. This is a commitment on our part to pray for them for the entire school year. Contact Luz Dial (601-497-3238); Billie Morton (601-992-0003).
